But once they’re done, Tezcatlipoca is happily checking out the guns, loading the ammo into a bag since he’ll be passenger, etc. ]
I figure we can head way out there. I heard people sayin’ that they stay close ‘cause it’s safer, but ain’t a problem for us, right?

But now that they're getting ready to head out, Amos is actually starting off by being responsible — doing a walkaround and inspecting the ATV before he makes his way over to the driver's seat, puts the keys in, listens to the engine purr. He trusts that Tezcatlipoca's got the weaponry covered, and now that he's inspected his side of the tech given to them, he practically beams at him. ]
Definitely not. 'sides, if we get into trouble not like we can't just take off in this thing, right? Isn't that what it's for? It'd be a waste to stay close.
