By the time Gen steps onto an unfamiliar side street of Springstar, intending to take a long way around to avoid an area where he knows there's a big cluster of plant growth causing problems, only to spot a group of children frozen in the middle of a game of tag, at least he knows what's going on. Sort of. It's another one of those bullshit incidents, isn't it? Time frozen except for another Shard-bearer, and there's gonna be a kid version of them that also needs to be dealt with.
What a waste of time. At least it's nothing that really affects him directly. (Or so he tells himself.)
So Gen wastes no time stalking around the street and peering into the alleys that branch off of it until he spots someone else who hasn't been frozen in mid-motion. ]
