She hadn't expected the superhuman traits (which are so common among their peers) to come out so quickly, and she does find the surprise a bit comical. Especially when he's hopping back down just to offer a little heat pack to her. Which is so undeniably sweet and unexpected from a man who - at least by her initial reaction - seems a little stiff.
