[ After some time, one must put the books aside and take a break to gather their strength. Such is the case for him as he finds his way to the Eating Parlour. He finds Amos among the large eatery and pays him a slight nod of acknowledgment from afar.
The wall of jars is the first point of interest, so he wanders over and picks out something that appears moderately edible. It's released with a flourish of sand - along with another jar that sits nearby - and he makes his way closer to Amos so that he may take a seat on a stool close by. ]
Eugh. These look woefully akin to military rations, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
[ He puts a hand on the lid of his jar and tries turning it. It doesn't want to budge. He sighs heavily and holds it out to Amos, silently asking him to do what he is obviously very good at. Please open the jar? ]
