[ really and truly, dextera isn’t targeting amos specifically. the logic bears out like so: he needs sand to replenish what he’s used, he can’t ask for sand from his fellow meridians nor the unharmonized, and there are some people on zenith that are off limits too. amos is someone he knows he won’t lose face with, although their last conversation ended as close to amicably as the two could have possibly come.
they still don’t understand each other, and as such, dextera is not worried about losing a potential ally. ]
