[At first, the book doesn't seem like anything interesting; some fantasy novel with a fancy looking title because the contents are probably shit. He regrets 'offering' to read it as soon as that snarky "please" comes out of Mamoru's mouth. Also, he's horrible at storytelling, and just basically changes the names and locations around: instead of the adventures of Tibbar the Knight in an undersea kingdom, it's a girl named Jane, and she's interchangeably a Lady or a Princess in a land of vast desert, getting mixed up with some witches and learning magic and whatever-the-fuck else. He drones on with it, no emphasis on anything, and some details conflict by the end, and he shuts the book and tosses it on top of the shelf.]
Well, that was boring shit, yeah?
[There's not much in it Heine can use for his own means, it just makes him more suspicious of that otter guy. Pointless.]
