When someone speaks nearby his first reaction is to look up with a "Hm?" as he sets his sight upon whomever has made the unfortunate choice of trying to engage with him.

This person is someone new that he has not spoken with previously. Tall, graceful, and Elezen-like in stature - certainly someone he would remember. "I suppose interest would be subjective to those who behold it." Any frightfully dull topic could be interesting to the right person.
