The experience is novel at least, I’ll grant that.

[Liem doesn’t know what would make snow that’s bitter and icy any different than the kind that’s currently all over the ground. It feels icy and bitter enough when it works its way between his layers, that’s for sure — although he does have to admit that the look of it dusted in plump layers all over everything is appealing in its own way. And although he can’t stay out here for too long without starting to feel the effects of the cold, the smushy feeling of snow beneath his boots during his walk is rather nice.

Just as long as the amount of snow remains at manageable levels. He heads for the pathway without further prompting, eager to be moving his legs again.

I’ve no familiarity with winter sports, [obviously,] and “the quiet of nature” is something that is in rather short supply in Springstar. One of my most recent positions back home kept me in Oppara most of the time, but I travelled frequently prior to that, and sometimes I miss the open country.
