[ A non-committal grunt at the idea of normalcy and its relationship with boringness. Being boring wouldn't be so bad, he figures. Better than what he's got going on with him. It's something he's wished for; has had to accept he's never going to get, or so he's thought.

But his mind quickly moves on from that at her teasing tone, at the way she leans back down over him — and immediately denies him, her being the one to stick something in him instead. Amos lets out a little laugh at her audacity; immediately halts it, because she's got a job to do and him moving around is only going to make things worse. Still, there's a little smile on his face as he looks out at her, watching her hands as much as he can from his vantage point. Feeling that burning little sting that indicates there's no turning back now.

Ah. So people aren't pleased with her. He'd been suspecting as much, but her little laugh over it has him furrowing his brow. Not that he cares about impressing others, but... ]


Lust Over Victory? Huh. [ He maybe should have been able to see that coming, but he'd also thought she would be taking the Oracle trial seriously. The way everyone should. Amos frowns a little, more from trying to figure out where she's coming from than any pain on his end. ] Well that's...

[ She's literally stabbing him right now; there's a little question as to how to word this. ]

... I dunno. We got separated so fast, and then I didn't see you again. You weren't doing what the Oracle wanted? For Zenith?
