Curious, D walks slowly up behind Gen to get a look over one of Gen's shoulders at the crystal casting a hypnotic glow over Gen's face. Hmm. Something has bewitched the other boy, and D gives the entire room a once-over. Again, his eyes return to Gen.
The sound of Gen's desperate stomach is loud in D's ears. He wonders how long Gen has been here, sitting in front of this crystal screen? So far (for now), nothing has tried strangling D's own spirit...]
