[It's all gone considerably better than she's expected for it to. But maybe it's because Midna isn't exactly known for being the most optimistic. Arrogant, yes, and often brutally forcing things to her whims when necessary, but that isn't exactly the same. She can't stand not having control. Not being in control. It's been a challenging misadventure.

Yet Akua has proven very reliable. If they should find themselves in another like situation in the future, Midna suspects that she can trust this woman. At least enough to get them out of it. Perhaps the feeling is mutual.

As she's reflecting on that, she finds a relatively safe clearing that seems free of insect trails and potential obstacles that might rain down from above them. She sets Akua down first, only willing to reclaim the locks of her hair into its ordinary fashion once her immediate companion has had the chance to piece herself together and regain composition.]

I think we've more than earned a little leisure time. I don't suppose you know someone who might be willing to cook us something wonderful? I would love something sweet.
