The web is pulled taut, straining to keep its hold on her despite the force, which is just the sight she wants to see in this moment. She puts the knife to work, liberating herself from the thin and sticky strands bit by bit.
And before long she makes enough progress that the tension in the remaining bits of web can’t hold up to the pressure of Midna pulling her along. The remainder of it tears free from the rest of the web and Gavial goes stumbling forward. She nearly loses her grip on the knife as she half-stumbles to her knees, but she leans back and raises it in the air with an excited whoop.]
