For a moment he just freezes, still in the midst of turning to smile at Quetz as she throws her arms around him — but he rallies and slides an arm around her waist, joining her just briefly in her jubilation. His own hug is a little restrained and awkward, not to mention less soft and warm than hers, but the thought is there. As might be apparent, Liem doesn’t get hugged very often.]

[Any more reasonably-sized creature would, he’s sure, be completely clobbered by the rock she’d hurled at it. She could definitely take out an unwary beetle or grasshopper. It’s just their misfortune that basically everything other than insect life is much too large for them to actually defeat at the moment.]
