[Ordinarily, Liem would not be encouraging a teenage stranger to risk his neck doing something potentially very dangerous in order to make his own escape easier. Ordinarily he would be concerned about the possibility of anyone getting hurt on his account, let alone a young man who seems willing enough to help him in his time of need.

[Obviously the ants will freak out if he walks up and grabs an egg while they’re paying attention, yes. But if he can nab one while they’re in another part of the cavern, and chuck it so that the ants don’t realize where it was thrown from… well, that might just work.
