The smile is tight, but Sebastian can see the subtlety of it and the anger underneath. It’s not surprising, exactly. Far from it. But where Sebastian’s actions were sometimes purposeful and precise in how they stuck little barbs into peoples’ hearts, that wasn’t the case here. Silco’s wonderings are his paranoia alone, because the extent of Silco’s guarded nature when it came to Jinx simply wasn’t something Sebastian understood.
As he saw it, there was no secret in this ashtray’s mere existence. The moment they had made their contract, Jinx’s importance to Silco wasn’t something that even could be hidden, so his sourness over it now is… Well, annoying, a bit. Silco’s contradictory nature is the sort of thing that he simply doesn’t understand.
So, Silco’s expression is returned with the lightest of frowns, but as Silco points out something of Sebastian’s, it deepens. Finding other peoples’ belongings wasn’t so bad, but his own being missing was more annoying, of course. As evidenced by Sebastian’s bare (!) hands. ]

[ Sebastian steps to the edge to look down, but even with his much sharper vision, he can’t quite make it out. All he can tell is that it’s rather small and indeed, shiny, but Ciel’s Shard isn’t what he considers first. He makes a thoughtful noise, then looks back to Silco. ]
Would you like to come down there with me? I will need to carry you to soften the blow, but only for the fall. It will be quick.
