[It’s possible that the prospect of D trying to catch him also factored into Liem’s decision to just climb back down the slow way. In any case, he at least skitters back to the ground at a brisk pace, truly looking like a little four-legged hunting spider in a slightly bedraggled suit.

D’s description of a photograph is brief, but it gives Liem all the information he needs. So, an image similar to a painting, but created with a “camera” instead of painted with a brush. (He does not bother asking what a camera is. Presumably, it is an object that produces photographs.)

Ah.

[The answer is still no, of course. Liem hasn’t seen any item depicting a girl and a boy, image or otherwise.

After only a few moments, his descent takes him to the garden soil, and Liem rejoins D next to the pair of enormous green peas. Small as Liem is, even by the shard-bearers’ current standards, the freshly-extracted legumes reach easily as high as his waist, if not higher. There’s no way he could possibly lift one of these bad boys, so he just rests his hands on the one nearer to him, fully intending to roll it the whole way.

If it’s missing, I might be able to help you find it, too. It’s more difficult for an item I haven’t seen, though.
