It makes perfect sense to him. But after a moment Amos sighs, his shoulders slumping, before turning to look back up at Hythlodaeus. "That tree's where we all come from too, right? So we need it to be safe. That might actually be the first priority here. Otherwise, we're gonna have a whole lot more to worry about than losing our breath for a couple of seconds every now and then."
