[ dextera knows why he trusted the archangel. he awoke with no memories, and the only person who would speak to him with anything like guidance had been the man himself. he doesn’t understand amos’ excuse. amos has others, he saw the archangel allow dextera’s death without so much as a tear, and yet he still has some quirk of the mind that makes him think the archangel is a good person.
