My memory of the Bozja Citadel, where the experiments were taking place, was muddled as best. I am the only person alive who had seen the inside of the Citadel... so they used my memory as a baseline to help the remaining Bozjan army. It was the use of the memory crystal that made me realize my father had been enslaved by the primal."

Maybe things would be different if Cid knew anything about the world of the Ancients— but he remembers nothing, knows only what he's been told.
