[ Archangel's actions look contemplative to Amos' eye, his mannerisms hinting at a compassion well beyond what Amos is capable of. He doesn't take his eyes off of him as he speaks, the sense that each word Archangel says is a sort of gospel even if he can't understand it, the importance of ensuring he hears them cemented in his mind.

A blink of surprise when Archangel says he forgives Amos. ]

Thanks. [ There's a hesitancy in his voice; he doesn't doubt the sincerity, but it still feels a little odd. There are people who can't be forgiven, Amos knows. Will never deviate from that knowledge, because there are people out there he will never forgive, no matter how dead they are by now. But that's secondary to the here, and the now. ] I didn't do anything to you, did I...?

[ He killed Dextera, maybe not as painlessly as he would've liked, but he did follow Archangel's orders there. To save others, even Dextera included. So Amos isn't entirely sure what Archangel needs to forgive him for, though there is something nice about hearing those words spoken to him — I forgive you. It's not often they're meant for him.

He wants to accept this — wants to feel every part of it — he just needs to understand. ]
