Precisely so. I suppose it is simply a cycle I have yet to find tiresome… Or, to immediately undo my being playful about the matter, there is likely a part of my nature that is just drawn to their suffering.

But who knows? I may indeed find it less charming if it were the sort of thing I saw mirrored across worlds as you have. Confined to one world and one people, it is a sort of charmingly poetic flaw. Past that, I can easily see how it would become a bore. I did find my own so boring that I am willing to be collared by humanity, after all.
