Man, everyone who got stuck with long hair really got screwed, didn't they?? Seems like more a hassle than anything else. Amos doesn't really get Hythlodaeus' smile, or the good-naturedness to him, but it kinda just reinforces his opinion of him — he's a good guy. Easy to get along with. And really, what more could you need in someone?
"Exalt," Amos says, bringing up a hand to point at the tattoo behind his left ear. He isn't smiling or anything, but there's a low, thrumming sense of happiness to him, not to mention relief. This is... pretty much perfect; all that's left for them is to, well, put things into action.
He lowers that hand, holds it out to Hythlodaeus. "I'm game if you are."
Amos has no problems with what happened in the tree — is it even a thing that bothers people?? The only things they're really feeling from it are, well, this nonsense — he just wants to be able to spend more time in Springstar in peace. Might miss the whole seeing-in-the-dark thing, but the tradeoff would be worth it.
