Silco doesn't follow, but from up in the back of the bar, he kept his sharp, almost piercing gaze on the man, although he often flicked it about the rest of the bar. As if he could just imagine something happening in here. He waited, and when Hyth returned, he did him the courtesy of offering the drink a sniff, to make sure the Whiskey was decent enough, before he took a single, cautious sip.
"Is it?" he asked. "I find the heat oppressive."
He lived down in the fissures, and while it could often get hot, or stifling, it wasn't like this. The sun beating down, like a hot lamp turned down on their heads. He disliked it, and not just because the sun was too much for his eyes these days.
"You must enjoy the sun," it's an audible observation, but he says it for a reason, to test the waters on the man's loyalties. "Especially if you stick around here often."
