Unable to see the creature, Hythlodaeus supposes it will be a nice surprise if he can make himself stop looking at the sketch. In the meantime he drinks his water, comfortable in the silence.

That's not to say he isn't going to get impatient after a time, of course. But he knows full well how long a concept takes from its sketch to the first breath of new life, and he's only getting impatient now because he wants to get to work. He can keep it to himself, at least... maybe he'll just watch Emet-Selch as he works. Yes, that's a nice distraction.

Drawing his feet up underneath him he looks wholly uncomfortable, but seems content to scrunch himself into a ball and nurse his drink.
