Silco didn't think of himself as quite as ambitious as Hythlodaeus seems to think he is. After all, he had been careful in his selection, watched for reactions from others, before he'd decided to down the drink. It's closer to a shot than something to nurse, but he's careful enough with his consumption that he doesn't really react to the alcohol beyond drinking it -- at least for the most part.
Thankfully, there were no animal parts, no ears or tails, or anything like that. He'd seen plenty of people with that reaction, and Silco was not willing to chance that indignity. No, what this one did was hidden behind the sunglasses he was currently wearing.

"I didn't notice," he admitted, with a shrug. It's not like he wasn't used to a bad aftertaste, after all. "Is this the drink you were going to buy me?" he asked, after a long moment.
The merchant certainly continued to seem confused, since this rather foul little man didn't seem all that excited to talk to someone who addressed him like an old friend.
