It's mostly adrenaline driving him when he throws his entire weight forward to catch Dimitri in a tackle, driving the point of his shoulder into the other's trunk, right at the sternum. Too bad he can immediately tell that he's easily outclassed in terms of physical strength -- it's like trying to tackle a boulder -- but that's no reason to back off.
