Right. So, mortals take "divine" power for themselves via the Oracles, and thenโ€”... what? If you had to kill this world and every soul in it to bring back yours, are you willing to pay that price?

Would your people be happy to know what you traded for their lives? Or would you never tell them? Because you know you could never tell them, right? They would hate themselves forever. You'd be kinder to let them rest and honour their memory.
