The line I drew was at the death and suffering of the civilians of both Highstorm and Springstar who have little involvement in the complexities of the factions, Shard Bearers and other relevant matters. Had Mr. Tibb's actions only affected those who went to the Scorching Isles, perhaps my opinion would be quite different as we easily could have been perceived as invaders and outsiders to his home. I believe it is only natural to want to protect such a place.

Which is why I speak in what is in the best interest of protecting Kenos, specifically Highstorm as that is now my home and I take responsibility for protecting the people who live there.

I do not think of such actions in terms of deserving. In an ideal world, Mr. Tibbs would deserve to live a long full life just as the rest of us. But the world we live in is imperfect and thus our solutions are as well.

[ His question is return is also not accusatory as Zhongli is genuinely curious to know her answer. But through the potent communion that they are all sharing, there's a feeling of inflexibility - rigid as stone by someone who ideals have been fitted and well worn through numerous trials. ]

Pardon if I am overstepping, but it seems you are swayed toward sparing him. Might I ask what you would have us do in such a scenario?
