[ Dimitri pauses to wipe sweat from his brow. Even with his prodigious strength, it's hard work. But he knows that they're trying to find people who need help. That if they save even one life, it's worth it. But like Vander, he's wary of the building falling in on them or of shifting wreckage that might crush a trapped survivor. So the work remains slow, even if the urge to go quickly is there. He pauses to examine the large piece of debris in their path, his eye tracing it and how it's wedged into the opening.

Dimitri steps forward to crane his head and get a better look, trying to see if the doorway itself is stable or if removing this piece will bring it all crashing down. ]

I think you're right. Do you think it will hold, once we remove this? I'd rather not bring more down on us.
