He could blame the failure on Dextera. He could say that it is because Dextera did not destroy the flower fast enough and further ruin whatever confidence and sense of self that this world was giving him.

These people must be forgiven. These people must survive and feel guilt and horror over their actions. Dextera must understand that his words are always right. Dextera must understand that the salvation of the people is only because the Archangel desires it.
