It's probably cooling off by now, but whatever, the rest of him's warm — as he lets his fingertips dangle into the water, content to watch her go at her own pace, paying no mind to any inconsistencies in eye contact. Whatever's comfortable, right? This place is perfect for that.

And there really is something nice about listening to her describe her dream home. He keeps a light smile on his face as she talks all about things he never would've dreamed of having. ]

That sounds amazing. [ It really does. All of it; there's a degree of wonderment to his voice. ] Think I might be looking forward to that too, actually — getting to watch the snow from inside. That'd be a nice change of pace.

[ Kind of like how warm it is here; how he can submerse himself in it, be totally at peace, wanting for nothing. He takes a moment to sit with that thought, smile turning a little fond. ]

I know I'm gonna be staying somewhere in Highstorm. Dunno where yet... By a coffee shop might be nice. I knew a guy once who'd live in one if he could.
