cutlery: (that'll show those rabble-rousers)

Of course. If they are so magnanimous, then it is an excellent cause to serve. And I will gladly protect their shards in return, should things go poorly. It is only fair.

[ At least so far, none of the Pleroma had earned his ire enough to destroy or abandon their shards in this sort of scenario. It may be just an expression of his whimsy, but he does mean it seriously. Unless he’s given further reason or direction to pursue someone viciously, simply delivering them the experience of death satisfied his baser instincts.

But! No need to get into that, since Silco is intrigued, as he had hoped. He leans back in his chair and gives a light glance over his shoulder to see if any eyes are on them as he speaks. ]

Oh, a few things. Most of them were things that I was able to do in Horos, but not so readily. You may have seen that I was able to control my form at will, but that was limited. It is not so any longer. I could be a crow, a wolf, or even my real face, if I so chose. But from the shadow that I may shape there is also—

[ It’s as he’s satisfied that they’re being ignored that he leans forward again. It’s partially to lower his voice a bit, but also for the small demonstration. He gestures generally to Silco, but it’s to show his open, empty palm, since as he lowers it to the table between them, his fingers close around something small and there’s the clink of something being placed on the table. It would seem like a sleight of hand, if not for how flickers of dark, impossible shadow linger against the white of Sebastian’s gloves, if only for a moment.

Sebastian moves his hand to reveal a small and ornate knife, though for its decorative properties, there’s no question that it’s functional. ]

—Creation. Still not in full, mind you, but I can at least accept that I shall no longer be making mansions and strongholds with a wave of the hand. Otherwise, if I have seen it, I can create it with my will alone. This one is a gift, should you want it.

[ It’s a more fitting gift than Sebastian knows, but it truly is little more than a coincidence… Considering what he does know of Silco’s background combined with his personality, it’s just the sort of thing just seems like something Silco might have use for and enjoy the dark humor inscribed on its blade: ]

Che la mia ferita sia mortale”—”May the wound I bring be fatal.” The Corscians definitely carried out their vendettas with style, no?

[ There is, of course, one more thing. But he’ll get to that one as its own point, since it’s surely the more important to be brought up to Silco in particular. ]
