I suppose you can't starve out the other side without shooting your own foot, hm?

[ It's an interesting prospect. Silco knows how it is, to be somewhat dependent on those one considered their enemies. There's something that they don't have in Zaun, and that's ample verdant land. There's nothing to farm, and while they could live off of trade from Bilgewater, some of the castaways are thrown off from topside.

There seems to be a natural symbiosis to Springstar and Highstorm, and it's not something he's unused to. It's also different, than what he'd seen in the last world, where the breadbasket had been... relatively subjugated. This didn't even have a set population, it seemed. He assumed the buildings remained, but...

Curious, though, that they seem drawn to shard-bearers, hm? I assume she gave you no indication as to what that was about? [ Was it their natural power? Were they predators, knowing that they were encroaching on this world? Silco had seen enough that he has multiple theories now, but without investigating... ]

I wonder what they hope to gain, by attacking ones like us? There must be < em>something that draws them in.
