Cyrus snorts out a little laugh as he ducks his head, but the gossip at least draws out a grin.

Clearly this has not only happened before, but maybe even multiple times... But he waves a hand to the notion. "No, Cetina just makes sure I get everything done I'm supposed to, but I think it's more important to spend time with my people than doing paperwork."

Hence why it took no convincing at all for the leader of Meridian to give Emet-Selch a guided tour of Springstar all those months ago. Also why a stern-faced deerkin woman dragged him back quite insistently to end it.
