At some point, his concern has morphed into vague irritation. His latte has definitely cooled by now, the adorable little puppy on top probably deflated. He's not sure if he's witnessing someone actually in pain or if this guy is just pulling his leg. Also, if he sticks around, there's a possibility he might get punched?? All in all, not exactly the way he wants to spend his afternoon. He thinks a little longer, eyeballs Matsui and his surprisingly calm demeanor, and then promptly turns around and returns to his seat, whereupon he takes a bite of his sandwich, apparently done with all this.
