Time can work different in Kenos. Or... Well, not differently, it works the same, but it doesn't always flow the same way.

If I'm guessing correctly about the kind of thing you're seeing, then I've seen that happen before. Sometimes when people come to Kenos, it's almost like their world freezes, at least relative to here. You can be gone for months, but it's only a few seconds back home.
