Amos doesn't quite know the words to describe the feeling it gives him; it's just... nice.

So he takes another drink of his own, in time with her, sets it back down a little before Lottie does. Slow, steady, and blissfully content — that's the entire mood right now, letting the tips of his fingers dip back into the water, expression softening at her question. ]

Nah. Pretty normal question, really. [ It's friendly. It's what friends ask one another. There's something really pleasant to it. ] I'm good. Things got a little rough there for a minute, but this place is nice. Really can't complain.
