He looks down at his cup, contemplative. "Have you spoken with him yourself? He showed me something when we spoke, a vision- no, a glimpse into my world, whole and as if nothing had ever happened. Yet despite knowing in my heart that it was real, I'm also torn. I saw my home destroyed long before I saw it devoured by the darkness, and I have since accepted that I will never have that world back."
He sighs, then shakes his head. "But you are not here for that- my apologies." Smiling her way, he taps his fingers against his mug. "What in particular would you know of him? I have only just arrived here, you see. I only know a little."
