They can participate as many times as you'd like!

If you'd like to double (triple?) dip, just be aware that the scenario will end with your character being subsumed by the roots of the tree regardless the outcome and dragged further into the earth, where they will end up deposited in another cavern to wander until they meet up with the next group. Any injuries they sustained will carry over until they are awoken/freed, so be careful! 😉
