Honestly, he probably should have seen this coming all things considered. She twice planted a one of these things on him, so what's a third time?
He's at least fight back by grabbing on it before it can really sink into the skin under his face.
You know, so it can cut up his hand instead. Clearly... better?
He's also not making any moves to let go of her hair even as he grapples with her over this little thing that could go up in flames at any moment.
Very safe and smart of both of them right now.
