[ Amos takes the book, idly flipping through it as Howl speaks. He knows that he has a different experience than most here — that goes for just about everyone, really, but it's clear Howl is in his element on Highstorm in a way Amos isn't, in a way that can't be explained by his extra few months here — but it's still weird to hear about, sometimes. That the way he knows the night sky is so different from the way seemingly everyone else knows it.
But, it's not a whole thing. He looks up at the sound of Howl pulling another book out, using a thumb to hold open the page he was on — something about the geology of Kallutu, maybe there's something that can be mined from it — noting its title, still as engaged as ever. ]
Yeah, couple of times now. It kinda reminds me of where I grew up. Crowded, but they've got some good shit there. [ The bars, the brothels— okay no he hasn't really been anywhere other than the entertainment district. ] Two moons are a hell of a lot easier to live under than two suns, though. Feel like I'd go insane with that much light all the time.
