But he seems to dismiss it easily enough, with a shake of his head. "I know that our bodies are projections around our shards. Something must have caused it, but I can't even begin to wonder what. But I remember it happening."

Whatever it was, it's pointless for him to worry about it now. Though his gaze does follow Hythlodaeus's, taking in the state of Emet-Selch's shard. Though it's difficult to ignore, Cid doesn't address it too.
